Great post! I have been using twitter for only a couple of months and I am addicted! Having been in business for over 22 years, to be successful you must learn to change with the times. Social media is very relevant to the times. Even though I have gotten huge value from it already from the interesting people that I have met, most of my colleagues and clients still have not heard of it, or understand what it is. How do you explain it? I have heard @coachdeb say that it is like a giant cocktail party going on virutally 24/7 that you can jump in at any time and add value to the conversation. And it is global! I have family in Australia that I am trying to explain how to use it. I will definitely send them this link! Sounds like fun, doesn't it? Thanks for sharing.

Cheryl, like you, I use Twitter find new ideas as well as to follow people that I know and don't know. I believe that Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and other social networking sites are becoming an integral part of this how we network - not that they take the place of face-to-face, but they make it easier to stay in touch and exchange information.
