Earlier this week Renaissance 2.0 guru Paisano® tagged me. Essentially, what that means is I post 6 random things about myself and follow the remaining rules (see below). After reading Pai’s list, I know more about him and have a greater sense of connection (which of course, is what bloggers want from their subscribers, and vice versa). My hope is that this post will give you a little further insight into who I am. So, in no particular order, here are…

Six Random Things About Me:

  1. A few years ago I sang a solo at the White House, (not for a Presidential audience, but as a part of the twilight candle tour when my church choir was selected to sing).
  2. My two favorite Indian names are: Venkata Kancharla and Manohar Rajupuntana (pardon the spelling) and the best personalized license plate I’ve ever seen was on a Saab convertible, “Snaab.”
  3. I love being the first one to open the peanut butter jar (Jif, of course) and putting the knife in. Even now, the thought of it brings a great sense of satisfaction that shows in a big smile.
  4. I’ve been in more than a dozen car accidents. The worst two: a) I was a passenger in a head-on collision and b) A Mack truck totaled the Toyota Corolla I was driving. Thank God for those giant can openers.
  5. My favorite movie of all time is “If You Could See What I Hear.” I’d love to have that on DVD if anyone can point me to a link. To my knowledge, it only exists on VHS.
  6. The faithfulness of God often brings me to tears.

The Six People I’m Tagging:

  1. Matt Brandon
  2. J.J. White
  3. Carlos Whit
  4. Gail Hyatt
  5. Becky McCray
  6. Damon Cortesi

Here are the rules:

Okay, for those of you tagged, here are the rules:
1. Link to the person who tagged you.
2. Post the rules on your blog.
3. Write six random things about yourself.
4. Tag six people at the end of your post.
5. Let each person know they have been tagged.
6. Let the tagger know when your entry is up.

So what are six random things about you? Leave them in your comments. This should be fun!
