Ask the Right Questions
Yesterday I facilitated a strategy session with Woman’s Missionary Union of Virginia (WMU-VA) as part of an ongoing planning process. They’re exploring how to do ministry in an ever-changing world. While they don’t have it completely figured out, I believe they’re headed in the right direction. Here’s what I heard at the conclusion of the meeting:
“I’d rather ask the right questions and not have all the answers,
than ask the wrong questions and have it all figured out.”
– Laura McDaniel, Executive Director/Treasurer
Things are changing for all of us – whether we’re in business or ministry, government agencies or non-profit organizations. It is likely that we won’t be able to navigate success in the future using the exact same programs, products and services of the past.
So, what are the questions you’re asking as you look at the future? Leave your comments here and help extend the conversation.
