This Friday the 13th you can participate in a social media experiment that will benefit the Linkhorne Middle School (LMS) Library. All books, music, video and café purchases (excluding gift card and online purchases) made at any Barnes & Noble in the US on Friday, March 13, 2009 using the LMS Code #423129 will help raise money for the LMS Library.

Spread the Word
Tell everyone you know. Call your neighbor. Tell your co-workers. Email your fellow church members. Send a Facebook message to your high school friends. Forward the pictures or create your own. Share this blog post or Digg it. Write your own on Multiply. Make a video on 12 seconds tv or post it on You Tube. Tweet the message to your followers on Twitter. And ask everyone to do the same. Use your social media channels, whatever they are and help spread the word.

When I talked with Mr. Kerns this afternoon, his response was, “I’ve always said I’d never dress up like a girl. I’ll sleep on the roof. I’ll do anything. But don’t ask me to dress up like a girl.” Sort of like that Gilligan ad.
