But the truth is, we rarely see the whole picture. In those instances when we’re up against a difficult situation that is not what we planned, we can still know that God is faithful. He is working all things together for our good. Read what the Bible says here.

On Facebook recently, a friend reminded me of the song He is Able. Wintley Phipps has an amazing voice. The message is one that I need to hear when things don’t always work out the way I’d like. I’m pretty sure I wore this song out during the days/months immediately following my separation and divorce. Watch it and tell me what you think.

Tomorrow is Easter. It’s a day of celebration. But yesterday was Good Friday, a time of sorrow and confusion. I’m thankful that even when I don’t see the whole picture, that God is able to do exceeding, abundantly beyond all that we ask or think. And He is present during the hard times. When I’m too overwhelmed with my struggle to even recognize that Easter is just around the corner.

Do you ever need to be reminded that God is able? And when you’re in the midst of your own Good Friday, what speaks to you?
