God Answers Prayer

I just talked to my boy.

He changed his mind.

I’m so thankful for the many prayers of friends near and far, who have offered prayers on our behalf.

Thank you God!

I didn't know this was going on. I am so glad he changed his mind. Even thou a boy needs a father in his life, I believe he requires his mother more even thou he would never admit to it. Praying for both of you.

Cheryl, how wonderful to read the last post…I was so broken-hearted for you as I read the 1st one, but how blessed with how you finished it. We can never prepare for this kind of hurt, but Holy Spirit gives the ability to say, “it is well with my soul…” even as our hearts break. And they do with our grandchildren, too, as I'm learning…But God gives the grace we need, and the peace and assurance that He is in control. Praising God with you!

I didn't say anything, really. I asked a lot of questions and listened. And prayed, and cried. Interestingly, I never prayed for God to change his mind. Instead, I prayed that God would bring about whatever He needs to accomplish His purposes for my son's life. That was the hardest prayer of all!
