Relief from Lynchburg’s 96 Percent Humidity
Finding relief from Lynchburg’s unbelievable heat and humidity by remembering this…
and thinking how it reminds me very much of the way I often think of my hair. When it’s long, I want it to be short. When it’s short, I want it to be long.
When it’s snowing, I want it to be warm. When it’s hot outside, I wish it were cool.
Instead, today I’ll be thankful that I was able to run 2.5 miles today (which I wouldn’t be able to do with a foot of snow on the ground). And I’m thankful that I’m making progress on my three words for 2010.
This post is my response to the prompt “Home,” from fellow High Calling Blogs members.
