Three Books for My Spring Reading List
It’s been unseasonably warm in Lynchburg this winter. Daffodils in full bloom tell me it’s time to think about my Spring Reading List–even though I have unread books in bookcases, on my nightstand, and on my Peter’s Kindle. I’m “in the middle” of reading more books than I can recall at the moment but three books have my attention!
Each of the authors are experts in their subject matter; they’re great speakers. They’re people with a heart for others and for the Kingdom. And I consider them friends. Here’s the first one:
Platform: Get Noticed in a Noisy World
From Amazon’s description:
“To be successful in the market today, you must possess two strategic assets: a compelling product and a meaningful platform. In this step-by-step guide, Michael Hyatt, former CEO and current Chairman of Thomas Nelson Publishers, takes readers behind the scenes, into the new world of social media success. He shows you what best-selling authors, public speakers, entrepreneurs, musicians, and other creatives are doing differently to win customers in today’s crowded marketplace. Hyatt speaks from experience. He writes one of the top 800 blogs in the world and has more than 100,000 followers on Twitter. His large and growing platform serves as the foundation for his successful writing, speaking, and consulting practice.
“In Platform Hyatt will teach readers not only how to extend their influence, but also how to monetize it and build a sustainable career. The key? By building a platform. It has never been easier, less expensive, or more possible than right now.”
Platform is available for pre-order on Amazon for $15.51 in hardcover and $9.99 on Kindle. (You can use the widget below.) I’ll tell you about the other two books later this week but you can see and pre-order them as well, by using the widget below.
What about you?
What books are on your Spring Reading List?
Disclosure: At the time of this writing, I’ve paid very little attention to affiliate marketing. This post is an experiment to see how one “pins” items from Amazon onto Pinterest and whether or not any sales would reflect an increase. Just curious, but wanted to be upfront about me raking in the cash. :)
